This discovery, Avatar Adi Da says, is true “self”-understanding.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAvatar Adi Da asserts that the Non-separate Condition is not something to be attained at a later time, after a lot of practice, or by trying to understand yourself. Rather, it is an Awakening that occurs spontaneously. Recognizing and responding to Avatar Adi Da, at heart, and true self-understanding are the requirements.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Discourse was given by Avatar Adi Da during the historical period of His Great Teaching-Submission Work. During this extraordinary period, Avatar Adi Da entered into direct dialogue and consideration with His devotees, thereby reflecting their ego-patterns and Attracting them beyond self-enclosure to His egoless Divine Reality-State. Yet a profound shift in His manner of Working was also unfolding during this period: Avatar Adi Da was gradually relinquishing the mode of Teaching-by-Submission, and, more and more, simply Radiating His egoless Divine Reality-State. This shift was accompanied by Avatar Adi Da’s continual refinement of the language of His Reality-Teaching.
