He says that true ‘food’ is Reality Itself, and that true health is ‘about sustenance, about love, and not really about conventional matters of diet and health’. Thus, to truly be healthy, one must locate the True Source-Condition of all that appears, and it is from there that healing can occur. One must, of course, use practical means available for healing, and diet is key among such means. But one starts with Reality and one’s Communion with Reality—and, then, practical health matters are dealt with from this starting point.”

—from the introduction by Charles Seage, MD

A remarkable Discourse by Avatar Adi Da Samraj on how the shock of (apparently) independent existence initiates the false search for the “edible deity”—or the “food” that is perfectly sustaining.

True sustenance, Avatar Adi Da says, does not come from any outside source of sustenance, but through the transcending the illusion of separateness—by discovering directly, at heart, that our True Condition is Perfect Non-separateness from Reality.
